It could just as well be otherwise! In my work I take objects and materials out of their usual context and turn them into installations that carry a sense of uncertainty. With a background in metal construction I mostly work in steel, using techniques like forging and rolling. I bend, twist and tension the material in search for precarious states of balance. Form is determined by gravity, tension and the specific resistance of the material.
